Funny thing is, only one of them was property related!

Which brings up the question, why are we still called Zadel Property Education?

Well for years now we’ve been toying with the idea of rebranding to something more general around ‘wealth education’ rather than ‘property education’ but I just can’t do it.

As I write this, I just got back an hour ago from a Gold Coast property inspection trip and whilst it didn’t go the way I had planned, my Marketing Manager Dave said, ‘you just light up when you speak about property’. Yep, guilty!

I love it! To my mind, it’s the greatest wealth vehicle ever created and in truth, the only one you ever need, when done the right way. Having said that, you need to be aware of people’s biases, and whilst I confess mine is property, I understand it’s not everyone’s.

That’s why, for the past year or so now, we’ve introduced new, what I call ‘rising-tide’, wealth building vehicles – like buying and selling websites, importing/exporting strategies, Cryptocurrencies and now also Amazon.

And whilst I know plenty of people that have made lots more money with Crypto and Amazon than they’ve ever made from property, I believe that’s also more a personal preference kind-of-thing rather than just the vehicle. There is definitely a new trend of successful, mobile entrepreneurs that can live and work from anywhere in the world with their laptop and an internet connection!

Whereas property is more of a physical thing – but all that is about to change massively as well.

'Why The Rich Are Getting Richer' by Robert T. Kiyosaki

Hazelnut Cake:

Pinch of sea salt
2 tbsp cardamom
1-2 tbsp coconut oil
1¼ cups Hazelnut flour
½ tsp vanilla extract
8 Medjool dates (pitted & soaked 10 mins)

Hazelnut Ganache Frosting:

1 tsp hazelnut extract
1-2 tbsp agave nectar
3 tbsp hazelnut milk (I used EcoMil)
1 bar organic chocolate (I used Alter Ego)
1 cup hazelnuts for garnish (ground, toasted)

Directions:

1. Line a 6-8 cup muffin tray with paper liners.
2. Using a food processor, blend together hazelnut flour, dates, coconut oil, salt, ½ vanilla extract and cardamom until combined.
3. Remove from food processor and divide evenly by pressing into each cup on muffin tray.
4. Next, bring a small saucepan of water to the boil to make ganache frosting.
5. Break chocolate into small pieces and add to a glass bowl.
6. Place bowl over top of a saucepan and let water simmer until chocolate melts completely.
7. Carefully remove bowl from saucepan and place on a heat-resistant surface.
8. Stir in coconut milk, agave, and remaining ½ vanilla extract then whisk until smooth.
9. Allow to cool slightly before drizzling or spreading onto cake.
10. Garnish with ground hazelnuts.

Makes 6-8 Servings
